Harry Ferguson
I am an astronomer living in Baltimore, MD. I took up the Hammered Dulcimer in 1983 while in grad school, having played drums of various sorts growing up. I enjoy all sorts of music, traditional or otherwise. These days I mostly play Irish and Cape Breton tunes, and am working at the B/C box as well. (My playing on that is no fault of the various teachers at the Nova Scotia Irish week or Catskills Irish week.)
I go to the sessions at J. Patricks off and on, with my wife on piano & guitar and kids on fiddles when they are around.
From time to time I get a tune in my head and write it down. Some of these might even be original.
