Jusa Nutter Eejit
Ham-fisted wise-cracking troll plucking away at a 1925 Gibson TB-2 Tenor Banjo. I recently got myself a fiddle (2010), and even though my playing sounds like a cat being de-clawed with pliers, I love it just the same.
I got hooked on the stuff while listening to my grandparents old ceili band records when I was a little boy. Over the course of my 40 plus years I have played rock, ska, blues, country, funk and even punk - but none of that stuff has ever filled me up like this music does. My name is Will, and I live in Phoenix, Arizona with my wife and three sons.
Why "Jusa Nutter Eejit?"
It was the way I was introduced at my very first session. "Who's that fella?" says the flute player motioning to me - "Oh - jusa nutter eejit" says the fiddle player. I remind myself of this little story whenever I start to get a little too high on my own horse or open my big yap to say something inappropriate - (which I am very often tempted to do)
