Hi, My name is Suzanne, and I live in Tucson, Arizona, where I mostly play a kobsa, which is a Ukranian 4-stringed mandolin. It has a slightly bowled back with some wonderful wood work on the back. I play it in the Russian balalaika orchestra here, but when I'm at home, at jam sessions, or at music parties, it works very well for Irish/American/Old Time music. You can see it here:
