the mullinavat fiddler

My name is Seamus. I took up the fiddle about eight years ago. Having played all kinds of music including classical I find myself more and more drawn to my own music i.e. traditional Irish music. I am reasonably proficient although I've got lots to learn. My grandfather Pat Wallace was considered to be a good fiddler in his time and he is buried in Mullinavat Co. Kilkenny Ireland. I'd like to think that he would approve of my choice of instrument and my progress.
