I'm a Canadian with no Celtic ancestry who was deeply involved in the British Folksong Revival (the 60's/70's one) before discovering dance tunes.
After fifteen years in London, I am back in Vancouver. I play mandolin and tenor banjo and am working on recovering my long-neglected guitar skills.
I tend to play at sessions which encourage a mixture of songs and tunes.
English/Scottish/Irish leanings, not necessarily in that order.
My pen name either comes from my tendency to neglect replacing strings in a timely fashion, or from being more mature than the average session player.
