I'm quite a good harmonica player and actually play the tunes well. (I feel it's important to point that out right away, because most people with harmonicas butcher their music in general and make a bad name for the instrument in sessions.)
My main interest is Sliabh Luachra music and Eastern Kentucky fiddle tunes. Kind of an odd combination at first glance, but the terrain is similar and there are a lot of commonalities in the music.
I live in a holler in Appalachia with a harmonica playing husband (he's the really good player and is well known in his field), two big dogs, and six goats.
My favorite musicians are Johnny O'Leary, Kevin Burke, and Buddy Thomas.
