I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. Started playing whistle in sessions in San Diego when I was 15, then moved up here in 1990.
I play whistle out in sessions every once in a while, as well as playing pipes with some other beginning pipers around my area. (Sometimes I secretly play fiddle, too, but only polkas).
