Came downunder 1977. Music, don't know much about it, grew up amongst the fiddle, the spoons, the saw, the comb, the bagpipes, the accordian (piano & button) the table tapping, anything that made a noise my father made it sound like music. Tried the fiddle when I was 9, was told there was no point in trying to teach me. I think I was too shy. 5 sons play instrumnts from tin whistle, sax, trumpet, guitar, drums, babpipes, accordian etc all self taught one decided to do BA in music, 1 daughter who when little was so good, great touch now plays a camera instead. Music all around me but all I have is toe tapping when I hear some, want to feel a bit more, I think this site will teach me a bit, teaching myself the piano not yet fit for other ears!!
