dr_funkenstein

I currently live in Milwaukee, recently graduated with my Master's degree in Library and Information Science. I grew up playing jazz and funk on saxophone and flute and have my undergrad degrees in performance (jazz sax) and English Lit (very employable, I know). For the trad side of life, I play flute, whistles, and guitar and am learning octave mandolin and concertina.

As of August I'm the archivist at the Ward Irish Music Archives in Milwaukee.

I have a couple projects:

athas: trad trio. http://www.athasmusic.com (cd at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/athas)

duo project with TJ Hull: http://www.myspace.com/tjhullandjeffk (cd at http://cdbaby.com/cd/hullksiazek)
