**YOU LOST THE GAME**
Hi! I am Joseph from North London, I'm 21, I play fiddle and whistle (and trumpet, but let's not mention that), and I am currently (and, hopefully, for at least the next three years, in fact) studying maths at Newcastle university. I am NOT on the infamous Folk Degree, which everyone who meets me in sessions up here assumes! I can, however, be found playing Irish music probably more often than I can be found doing mathematics, which may or may not be a good thing... :-/
My dad's family is Irish and my mum's family is Jewish, a mix I've gotta say I quite like! I play mostly Irish music, with an increasing amount of Northumbrian since I came up to Newcastle. I play a bit of Scandinavian music (Finnish fiddle is AWESOME!), and although I know tons of Jewish tunes and songs, I don't really play them much. I must shamefully admit that I am a lover of what are known by some as "w@nky modern tunes", and probably know far more than I should. :-)
