Hello, I'm Laurel. I'm from Santa Cruz, CA, and I've been playing the fiddle since I was 6 or 7. Four years ago I started playing whistle and I now play the saw, guitar, mandolin, piano and viola as well. Current project: GHB (to quote a wise person, "They'll ruin your life," but I don't mind.)
I love Irish music, but the standard tunes with the younger set of musicians down here seem to be either obscure or Scottish (and anything else we like...), so I occaisionally appear lost in sessions outside the area.
I know I have too many tunes in my tunebook... I'm a bit obsessive about adding them.
Tunes in nalaaY's tunebook: 82
