I can often be seen busking in the West Midlands for cancer charities. I don't know how traditionalists would view my use of computer generated accompaniment but many appear to appreciate my efforts, and I still enjoy playing at real sessions. I am available as a solo performer in the UK West Midlands within a 40 Mile radius of Birmingham. Making use of self prepared accompaniment tracks I can provide live music for your event at an affordable price. If required I can play with a caller providing a complete barn dance. I have many years experience as a barn dance/ceilidh fiddler. My programme largely consists of lively Celtic/American dance music. Not Irish - neither by nationality, nor music played. But this an absolutely amazing group for Breton traditional music, enriched by a fantastic jazz arrangements. Very professional, highly valued by Breton players, hot and innovative, straight from a small, remote town in the Southwest of Poland. Their MP3s are on the website for download - some are an absolute must.

Chord House (Tutorials)
A quite useful website for guitar players (and piano players) - especially the 'advanced' section, where you can check chords in all possible tunings, and additionally pick up some useful theory stuff (all the details on the chord are displayed in a small window below the charts and boxes). A bit confusing in the beginning, when you get used to it - it is an addictive means of exploring the tunings and chords on guitar.
