Franco Cesarelli (Solo Musicians)
I can often be seen busking in the West Midlands for cancer charities. I don't know how traditionalists would view my use of computer generated accompaniment but many appear to appreciate my efforts, and I still enjoy playing at real sessions. I am available as a solo performer in the UK West Midlands within a
40 Mile radius of Birmingham.
Making use of self prepared accompaniment tracks I can provide
live music for your event at an affordable price.
If required I can play with a caller providing a complete barn dance.
I have many years experience as a barn dance/ceilidh fiddler.
My programme largely consists of lively Celtic/American dance music.
I also play quieter items including waltzes, airs, film music
and some light classical pieces.
My repertoire is suitable for background, listening and dancing.
To check my availability and to discuss your requirements

Alternately you may contact me by signing my guest book.

"The Algoma Traditional Music and Dance Family Camp (ALGOMATRAD) has been a
dream of it's founders, Julie Schryer and Pat O'Gorman for many years. With
the help of a board of directors and a group of local community volunteers,
this year, 2004, the dream will become a reality. This year, the first year,
the staff will be made up of members of the Brian Pickell Band and Tramp
Steamer, including Brian Pickell, Mark Sullivan, James Stephens, Charlie
Cares and Pat O'Gorman and Julie Schryer. Dan Gorno from Michigan will be
the dance teacher and caller. Local artist Anny Hubbard will offer native
arts and crafts and storytelling. They will have a children's activity
coordinator for the young children to give parents a chance to attend
workshops..."
Loads of fiddles, pipes, flutes and whistles, guitars, piano and much more.
This looks very exciting and very family oriented. It's also handy to the
border for anybody from the States thinking about heading up.
