Franco Cesarelli (Solo Musicians)
I can often be seen busking in the West Midlands for cancer charities. I don't know how traditionalists would view my use of computer generated accompaniment but many appear to appreciate my efforts, and I still enjoy playing at real sessions. I am available as a solo performer in the UK West Midlands within a 40 Mile radius of Birmingham. Making use of self prepared accompaniment tracks I can provide live music for your event at an affordable price. If required I can play with a caller providing a complete barn dance. I have many years experience as a barn dance/ceilidh fiddler. My programme largely consists of lively Celtic/American dance music. I also play quieter items including waltzes, airs, film music and some light classical pieces. My repertoire is suitable for background, listening and dancing. Melody Assistant (ABC Software)
If you want a program that takes in abc files amongst many others, displays them, plays them and prints them but can also be used to edit or write the music from scratch then Melody Assistant does this. It also produces tab for string instruments and harmonica. If you want accordion tab then the upmarket Harmony Assistant is what you want. They are available as downloads in trial versions with no time limit, when you pay you can save files. Melody Assistant is $20 but free for the trial version, well worth a look.
