Franco Cesarelli (Solo Musicians)
I can often be seen busking in the West Midlands for cancer charities. I don't know how traditionalists would view my use of computer generated accompaniment but many appear to appreciate my efforts, and I still enjoy playing at real sessions. I am available as a solo performer in the UK West Midlands within a
40 Mile radius of Birmingham.
Making use of self prepared accompaniment tracks I can provide
live music for your event at an affordable price.
If required I can play with a caller providing a complete barn dance.
I have many years experience as a barn dance/ceilidh fiddler.
My programme largely consists of lively Celtic/American dance music.
I also play quieter items including waltzes, airs, film music
and some light classical pieces.
My repertoire is suitable for background, listening and dancing.
To check my availability and to discuss your requirements
please Email funkydelard@hotmail.com or 'phone 01384396706
Alternately you may contact me by signing my guest book.

Transcriptions Of Traditional Irish Music (Tune Collections)
The site claims:
"Available immediately is a series of complete note-for-note transcriptions (exact grace notes, poppings, bowings, notes on fingerings) of traditional Irish music played by the best Irish musicians on available recorded media. Precisely transcribed by a composer, in proper musical notation as standardized during the 20th century. No cranning, rolling, or other ambiguous symbols. Actual rhythms (this does not mean complicated) and actual notes and grace notes are written out exactly as they occur. So you can stop guessing and learn how it's done."

Ask My Father (Music Groups)
The mighty Zina Lee's own group!
Here's a quote from their home page:
"Ask My Father is the name of an Irish traditional tune -- a treble jig in D -- and the band chose it for our name because the fiddler (Zina) is of Chinese descent, the guitarist (George) is English and Hispanic, the bodhran player (Janet) is Swiss and Scottish, and the uilleann piper (Dirk) is German. So naturally we play Irish traditional music."

Mark Hoza's Kything Flutes (Musical Instruments)
Mark makes stunningly beautiful Irish flutes and also wooden headjoints for Boehm-style flutes, using exotic Australian woods such as Corktown ironwood (check the pictures in his Web site). I bought one of his wooden headjoints, and love it. Mark will do everything to get you an instrument you're satisfied with. Highly recommended.
