I can often be seen busking in the West Midlands for cancer charities. I don't know how traditionalists would view my use of computer generated accompaniment but many appear to appreciate my efforts, and I still enjoy playing at real sessions. I am available as a solo performer in the UK West Midlands within a 40 Mile radius of Birmingham. Making use of self prepared accompaniment tracks I can provide live music for your event at an affordable price. If required I can play with a caller providing a complete barn dance. I have many years experience as a barn dance/ceilidh fiddler. My programme largely consists of lively Celtic/American dance music. Mark Hoza's Kything Flutes (Musical Instruments)
Mark makes stunningly beautiful Irish flutes and also wooden headjoints for Boehm-style flutes, using exotic Australian woods such as Corktown ironwood (check the pictures in his Web site). I bought one of his wooden headjoints, and love it. Mark will do everything to get you an instrument you're satisfied with. Highly recommended.
