Franco Cesarelli (Solo Musicians)
I can often be seen busking in the West Midlands for cancer charities. I don't know how traditionalists would view my use of computer generated accompaniment but many appear to appreciate my efforts, and I still enjoy playing at real sessions. I am available as a solo performer in the UK West Midlands within a
40 Mile radius of Birmingham.
Making use of self prepared accompaniment tracks I can provide
live music for your event at an affordable price.
If required I can play with a caller providing a complete barn dance.
I have many years experience as a barn dance/ceilidh fiddler.
My programme largely consists of lively Celtic/American dance music.
I also play quieter items including waltzes, airs, film music
and some light classical pieces.
My repertoire is suitable for background, listening and dancing.
To check my availability and to discuss your requirements
please Email funkydelard@hotmail.com or 'phone 01384396706
Alternately you may contact me by signing my guest book.

An online shop for traditional music. You can buy whole albums or individual tracks. There's a good range of releases on sale.
Like the iTunes music store, tracks cost 79p and albums cost £7.99 (so you can make quite a saving on longer albums). You can listen to a 30 second sample of any track.
Unlike iTunes, many of the tracks (though not all) are available in MP3 format rather than some proprietary DRM format (some tracks are in WMP... yuck!).

Abc4mac Home Page (ABC Software)
Wil Macaulay has written some ABC software for the mac.
As well as abc4mac for OS 9 which converts abc tunes into postscript and midi files, he has written an application called Skink for OS X which is a handy way of editing and playing back abc tunes.
Unfortunately, Skink doesn't allow the exporting of postscript and midi files that abc4mac does.
