This group is devoted to announcements (and perhaps sparse discussion) related to the Irish traditional music scene in central Ohio. The list is open to both musicians and listeners.
Whoever you are, we hope you will announce any concerts, workshops, festivals, etc., of interest to central Ohioans. This might include, for example, festivals in Cincinnati, Cleveland, or even Pennsylvania or Michigan if big enough. This will also help us coordinate session information, and perhaps provide a way for visitors to get in touch with local musicians.
Our goal is to have announcements about every public event of interest to central Ohio devotees of Irish music.
Please feel free to subscribe--someone will have to approve the subscription, but we have that policy only to avoid auto-spammers!

Dulcimer Player's Forum
The NEW - âDulcimer Playerâs Forumâ (UK & Ireland)
I am trying to establish a âDulcimer Forumâ over here on this side of the âPOND!
My on-going Poll, over at the excellent âEverything Dulcimerâ, revealed that only a tiny fraction of active members on that forum are actually from over here, but as we all know there are many active enthusiasts over here too. So, in an effort to encourage more contact from them and hopefully spread the Dulcimer word over here, I am trying to start up this Dulcimer forum.
I have, of course, posted numerous links to the âNONSUCH DULCIMER CLUBâ & to the 'EVERYTHING DULCIMER' website too, on the existing pages of this forum. and I hope all you Dulcimer players out there will agree that this venture is in a good cause?
I had a bad experience when trying to get another Trad music forum off the ground here, from the dreaded SPAMMERS, so I have tried to nail this one down, pretty tightly, which may well put some people off, but hopefully enough of the more dedicated & persistent Dulcimer enthusiasts will follow through the register & password process to help me establish a useful vehicle for the promotion of our beloved Dulcimers.
It may also prove to be a useful tool for anyone organising a tour over here! ;-)
Cheers
