Fleadh Nua will take place this year from 18 may until 26 May 2008. The fleadh nua is the national festival of Irish traditional music of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann. This year Fleadh Nua celebrates 35 unbroken years inEnnis. The programme has a varied mix of concerts, recitals, céilithe, street performance, storytelling, pub music trail etc. The national stage show (pléaracha & scoraíocht) finals and set dancing competitions (Comórtas rince náisiúnta) are held in Ennis during the weekend as well.
