Bríd O’Donohue, an accomplished teacher and player of tin whistle and flute from Miltown Malbay presents an evening of traditional Irish music with the pupils of her winter music school which has been running for nearly 20 years.
Bríd is delighted to be joined by the legendary East Clare fiddle player, Paddy Canny, who will be joined by his grandchildren, Gerard and Eimear Coughlan, along with West Clare musicians Kitty Hayes and Peter Laban who recently released their album, ‘They’ll Be Good Yet’.
The main emphasis of Bríd’s school has always been passing on the love of traditional music as is evident when she is joined on stage tonight by her 5 children, Sean, Eibhlís, Deirdre, Liam and Sinead O’Brien, playing a variety of traditional instruments.
