The New York Irish Center is looking for musicians to provide some music - SESSION STYLE, not for dancing, purely for entertainment......This is an opportunity to hold an informal session, for anyone who would like to play.
THIS IS A SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISER!
If anyone can / would be willing to play for just an hour (or more), (anytime during the evening!) your efforts would be greatly appreciated! Just be there with your instrument.
Shanan Slow, Administrator at the New York Irish Center, is leaving us to attend Queen's University, Belfast to continue her graduate studies in Irish Literature and History. Shanan will need $35,000.00 to pay fees and accommodation for the coming year. We have been advised that the best way to help her is to set up a "Scholarship Fund" for donations, and with your support we will send it directly to Queen's University toward her tuition.
