Irish Music and Dancing Labor Day Weekend, Glen Echo Park
This event is co-sponsored by the Irish Inn at Glen Echo and the Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture. Many Washington area performers will be there, includine Brendan Mulvhill, Zann McCleod and Brian Gaffney (and many great muscians), This venue is just outside Washington DC and next to the Potomac River. (NOTE: I am NOT an employee of the Irish Inn -- though it's not a bad place at all!) If you are in the DC area around that time and have never visited Glen Echo Park, you are in for a treat. This even is in conjunction with the annual Labor Day Weekend art show held at the park.
