On Saturday, March 19th, we will celebrate the 5th birthday of Céilí @ Mangonui i.e. it will be our 60th céilí - yeah!
Instead of spending money on the usual cake, balloons, etc., all costs and door takings on the night will be donated to the NZ Red Cross 2011 Earthquake Appeal. Instead of donning the usual green for the March ceili, you are invited to wear RED & BLACK in support of the people of Canterbury.
Ceili @ Mangonui is an evening of entertainment for all ages. As always, all dances will be demonstrated and called so it matters not if you don't consider yourself a Fred Astaire or Ginger Rogers! If you can't cajole someone else into coming along with you, then come on your own... there are plenty of other willing dance partners! And if dancing is not your thing, we always have a few people who drop in to enjoy the music and the dancing adventures of others!
Entry: $3 per adult, and a supper plate. Accompanying children are free.
