On Tuesday 28th September, Wallis' Bar in Midleton will host a special session. Musicians will include Dr. Daithà Kearney, who lectures on Irish music at University College Cork. Daithà has performed all over the world including in The White House for President Barack Obama. He will be joined by local music teacher Louise Keating and her brother, multiple All-Ireland champion Shane Keating, as well as regular musician and Sliabh Luachra maestro John Cronin. Other special guests,
including North Cregg member Ciaran Coughlan, will also call in and perform on the night.
A raffle will be held and prizes include a number of CDs from local artists, some of whom may perform on the night. These include 'unbuttoned' by Tommie Cunniffe, 'Vista Point' by Karl Nesbitt, 'Roseland Barndance' by North Cregg, 'Open the Door for 3' by Nuada.
