Traditional Irish Music Concert in aid of Loreto Orphans of Calcutta
There will be a charity Traditional Irish Music concert in aid of
orphans in Calcutta on Friday 12 Jan 2007 at St Kentigern's Social Club, Wilbraham Rd, Manchester. Tickets are £10 and can be reserved by phoning 0161 448 7451 or on the door. Starts at 9pm until late. There is a licensed bar. http://www.stkents.co.uk/
The artists appearing are all Manchester based musicians, including Michael McGoldrick, Grace Kelly (whistle)
& John Joe Kelly from Flook (bodhran) and Emma Sweeney, (fiddle), who was a BBC Young Folk Award Finalist in 2003.
Also performing will be Adele Farrell, Steve Prosol, (accordions), Tony Trundle (fiddle), David Lim (uilleann pipes), Paul Callick (guitar), Frances O'Rourke (piano accordion), Mick Rodden (fiddle), Pat O'Reilly (bouzouki) and many more.
