Limerick man, Mick Hanly is best known for his big stateside hit Past The Point of Rescue. The song scooped two BMI awards; Most played song of 1993 and One Million Radio Plays. But, Hanly’s songs have been covered by all the major Irish artists, including, Christy Moore, Dolores Keane, Mary Black, etc, while Hal Ketchum and Delbert McClinton, among others have sung Mick’s song in the US. He recently released Collected.

“Hanly has the ability to write such good tunes as Past The Point of Rescue, Damaged Halo, that deliver a distinctive rugged honesty, and controlled grasp of sentiment” Joe Breen, Irish Times.

Omagh man Arty McGlynn began his professional musical career at the tender age of 15years. Following a ten-year stint on the Showband circuit, Arty turned his attention to Irish Traditional music. In 1979, he released the groundbreaking McGlynn’s Fancy, which was the first ever album of Traditional music played on guitar. Subsequently, he became one of the most sought after guitarist in the country, playing with such luminaries as Van Morrison, De Dannan, and Patrick Street. In 1989 Arty’s duet album, Lead The Knave, with his wife Nollaig Casey was critically acclaimed, as was their follow up album Causeway. Arty’s production work is also wide-ranging. Artists such as Christy Hennessy, Frances Black, and Liam O'Flynn, have all benefited from Arty’s studio skills.

Tony O'Connell originally comes from the town of Glin in West Limerick. He began playing music at an early age and proceeded to win all-Ireland titles both under age and senior by the age of 18. In the past few years he has toured Asia, America and Europe with various shows and groups. Currently Tony is living in Limerick city where he gigs on a regular basis and teaches concertina at the IWMC in the University of Limerick.

Mickey Dunne and his pipes are a unique and well-known phenomenon in the world of traditional Irish music. Mickey’s style of piping embodies the free-flowing traveller piping style associated with the legendary Johnny Doran, Finbar Furey, and Paddy Keenan, all of whom have provided Mickey with inspiration. Mickey now provides the next generation of pipers with inspiration by his playing and his generosity with his other musical skills. He is a sought after and a welcome presence at tionols (A gathering of Uilleann pipers) around the globe.

Mickey’s first Uillean pipe CD was The Limerick Lassie, widely hailed as a unique and masterful piping experience. His last album 'Legacy' features Mickey with daughters Brid and Niamh (Beoga) in a heartfelt offering of gratitude to all who came before them. It gives an insight to the unique contributions these present day Dunne’s offer to the dynamic and ever-changing traditional music art form.
