Singer, Seán Ó Sé from Cork, heads up this exciting Comhaltas Tour of North America. Seán is part of the group who performed in the historic Stormont (Home to the Power Sharing Assembly for the North of Ireland) concert in October 2007. No doubt Seán, who originally performed with the legendary O’Riada Ceoltóirí Cualann group in Dublin’s Gaeity Theatre back in the sixties, will include “An Poc ar Buile” amongst his repertoire, a song with a great sing-along chorus.
Also among their number is celebrated FBI man (no, not a law enforcement officer but Foreign Born Irishman) Bruce Scott, noted traditional singer from Liverpool. That City may have given us The Beatles, Lennon and McCartney in the Swinging Sixties but these were only trailblazers for Bruce who has himself penned many a fine song!
