I noticed this wasn't posted in the events so I posted it. It's a great wee festival this, it can get a bit crowded on the Friday and Saturday but you'll find some great sessions and the annual Martin Hayes/Dennis Cahill gig in the village church is always special. In case you don't know Feakle is very near where Martin Hayes is from and as such both Hayes and Cahill teach classes at the festival.
You'll find all the top East Clare/East Galway musicians at this festival apart from Hayes and Cahill people like Mary and Andrew MacNamara, Breda and Claire Keville, Pat O'Connor, Eoghan O'Sullivan, Vincent Griffin, Paddy Canny and members of the Tulla Ceíli Band, you'll even find Jed Foley playing fiddle all week!
I try and make it along every year and always enjoy the slow, mellow east clare sessions but you'll find your fair share of loud fast sessions too!
