The Will Lang Percussion Workshop A one-day course with leading percussion tutor, Will Lang.
The course aims to provide a detailed look at the Bodhran and its use in all styles of music. Will looks at basic and advanced technique, and how to accompany different types of tunes, working with other musicians, improvisation, gig tips and practice routines. .
As a teacher, Will has the ability to recognize “bad habits” which prevent players from advancing as they should and will offer positive direction to get you on the right track. Open to all, the course will cover all levels.
Hot Lunch, tea breaks, and snacks provided. Cost for the whole day £60. (09:30 – 17:30), venue Staines Middlesex.
Will is an exciting percussionist, having gained experience playing with the Celtic Super Group “Mabon”. We were excited to notice such talent a couple of years ago in the Festival de Cornouaille, Quimper in Brittany, where the group stole the show in the public arena.
