A new, two day Celtic Festival in Evanston, WY being held on February 20th 2009 (this year ONLY, following years it will be held in the warmer months as an outdoor event). Dervish is the headlining band, and we'll have several other bands coming, including Shanahy, Willson and McKee, and Cranachan.
This festival will also be unique in, because it's being held in one of the few remaining railroad roundhouses left standing in the country, which the Irish helped to build here. Here is the website:

Hey folks, just a last reminder of our little shindig coming up this Friday and Saturday. Derivsh is headlining Friday, and we've got several other bands playing throughout the day Saturday. It's listed in the events here on this site, and we have some videos and sound files of some of the bands playing on our myspace page. Come if you can, should be fun.

Do you guys know there's more than one place in the world called 'The Roundhouse' ?
I was hoping I could get there using my free elderly persons' travel pass but no.
Ah, well, saw Pete Seeger play there about '65 or '66, Fairport, Fotheringay, and Matthews Southern Comfort in the Folk Proms in about '69, since seen June Tabor, Andrew Cronshaw, a few others. Stomp too. And the Chinese State Circus.
That's OUR Roundhouse, of course, not yours.
