As a last minute arrangement we have been asked to host a session at the Porterhouse in Montvale, NJ this Sunday coming (Sept. 17th). So come join Ray and I as we celebrate the half way mark to St. Patrick’s Day. All musicians are welcome and we will get started around 6:00 PM. The Porterhouse is located at 125 Kinderkamack Rd. and their phone number is (201) 307-6300.
Please note that we are not changing our schedule at the Porterhouse. We are still performing there the second and fourth Sunday of each month starting at 6:00 PM. The regular session will pick back up on October 1st and run the first and third Sunday each month. This session is hosted by Linda Hickman and Rose Flanagan with various special guests coming along.
A little more music news. A new Irish/Mexican restaurant has opened in Norwood, NJ. It is called Jose O’Reilly’s and is located at 595 Broadway (phone (201) 784-6900). This restaurant is owned and operated by the same folks as the Porterhouse. We played there this past Monday night at a private party Fintan and Kelly hosted for the contractors and tradesman that worked on the project. It is a brilliant pub and restaurant. This Sunday coming (September 17th) Brian Conway and Rose Flanagan are hosting a special session to celebrate not only the half way mark to St. Patrick’s Day but the opening of this great new place as well. The session will run from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Stop by to see, and have a tune or two with, Brian and Rose and when done come by the Porterhouse as we will be getting into full swing by then. It’s only a five minute drive from one to the other.
