Well, I've been poor and needed to spend money for some other things until last month.... But I got CDs and book together from Custy's for only 40 Euro, which included even the shipping fee.
And, as ye all know, our very own sharon the flute was involved with the project being responsible for much [all?] of the musical transcriptions and heavily involved along with husband Richard on the production of the CD's.
An absolutely invaluable contribution to the tradition of Fermanagh.
How about West Cork? There don't seem to be that many real West Corkonians left - and the people that play music in that area seem to be mostly 'blow-ins' (English, American, German, other Irish... anything but West Cork). Is there a distinct West Cork (as opposed to Sliabh Luachra) tradition? Have all its exponents died out, or have they just gone into hiding from all the Steeleye Spanners?
Spoon, I find the same thing happens in West Clare. Many players who support the scene there are from other parts of Ireland, like Terry Bingham from Down and Charlie Piggott from Cork. And I know fiddlers from Canada, the Netherlands, and the States, banjo players from France and London (Luton).
Now we have "Hidden Fermanagh." What's next?
Now we have "Hidden Fermanagh." What's next?

Er, where have you been? The first volume of 'Hidden Fermanagh' was issued almost four years ago!
The chance of finding the 'Hidden Tipperary' will only become available once all the EU subsidies dry up.
