Make a set from various cd's for use woth Amazing slow downer

Hi
I have used amazing slow downer for a while and find it great. I'm wondering do any of you know of software i can buy which will do the following.
I want to make my own set of for example the cliffs of moher followed by the kesh jig, and i want to have them together on the same cd . I have them in sets on two separate cd's. Is it possible to take the cliffs of moher from the first cd and the kesh from the second and put them together as one track on a blank cd?
It's a bit of a pain playing say the cliffs of moher and then having to put in another cd or selecting the kesh from the menu before continuing. If i could marry the two together and have them together i could practice the set without having to stop. Hope you understand my question
thanks

Don't know about Amazing Slowsdowner. But I use Audacity (free shareware) which lets me do all sorts of cutting and pasting. I can put in a CD, record a track, cut off the bits I don't want and save it to its own file. Bits can also be cut and pasted between files, and can be slowed down and speeded up. Only downside is that it doesn't export to a CD player format. You can save files on a computer in audacity format, or export them as wav or mp3 files.

Others may have better suggestions.

Nero Burning Rom the cd writing/copying software that seems to come with 99% of computers, like most cd writing software, gives you the ability to create your own compilations in a variety of formats including MP3, Wav & CDA. Nero also allows you to select the size of the gap between tracks thus allowing you to place both of thetracks you want onto the one cd with no dead space between them. This can then be run on ASD. I've done it and it does work.

Hope this helps

Just wanted to thank you for this program. It's already, in just a 1/2 hour, become such a help.

It's not changing the pitch on me, is it? I can't seem to match a note up with a tune I've wanted to learn... I was thinking it because it is being played in a different key, but now i'm wondering... I'll mess around a bit more :)

thanks!

Tunes sometimes appear in 'strange' keys on commercial CD's, in my experience. Either because the artists decided to play them 'em that way to make their recording a little special or sometimes because, I believe from reading here, that they are recorded at speed x in 'normal' key and then speeded up to y on the CD thus changing pitch. Use ASD or whatever to adjust pitch until you can play in what you think is the 'right' key.

You can save as an Audacity file and then click the export as wav. or save as wav. as well. It deposits a wav. version under the Audacity version in the saved tunes menu. Then you can select the wav files from your CD burner program as usual.

It may be a little complicated at first to use Audacity for this, you need to highlight the tune you want slowed down, then there is a menu option to slow the tune without changing the pitch. It's easy after you do it one time. Then "Save As" with save a ".aup" file, which your burner will likely not recognize, so after that save it as a wav. file.
