I'm looking for people to play Irish music with. I'm from Belgium and play whistles, also a little uillean pipes, so, any people from Belgium or Holland here?
Hello, nice to find finally some belgians or dutch visitors on this site. . actually i am playing the 5-string banjo (clawhammer) and now since 5-years the fiddle. In my playing i am focusing myself to play the irish music (both on fiddle as well as on banjo). I am from grobbendonk (area from antwerp). looking forward to hear from you.
Hi Baloo, I'm from a little place near Dordrecht, 45 min. drive from Antwerp. If you start a session, let me know and I'd love to come. I play fiddle, whistles and a couple of chords on the bouzouki.
PS: didn't see your post earlier, because I was on holiday in Ireland (blessed country)
Hi Baloo, I'm knew here and just happened to see your post. I'm from Scheveningen, play fiddle and can strum a few chords on the guitar. Don't know a lot of Irish tunes 'cause I used to play in Scottish ceilidh bands.
I registered today and would also like to know about sessions in Belgium. I live in Gent, work in Brussels and play the fiddle and like to sing. would be glad to meet more Irish music/Ireland fans
Who is interested to play some irish and celtic music together? I propose we should perhaps find a date and place and exchange some tune we could play at that time? Anyone interested???
Discovered this site only recently.
I live in Stokkem (not too far from maastricht), play flute and whistle. Always in for playing ITM, just let me know.
Are there any Belgians or Dutch people here?
