Celtic Metal Fiddler--have you ever read the book "Gossamer Axe" by Gael Baudino? ( I don't know if you are a guy or a girl, but it is very pro-woman). Basically it combines the Irish thing (both musically and spiritually) with the Heavy Metal thing. It's a little cheesy, but I really loved it. (partly because the main character is a harper, and I play harp as well.)

Anybody heard of Boiled in Lead?

I saw a bit of them on the Documentary Irish Music in America, part of the two-video set of Trinity's Dancing on the Green. They seemed really awesome, so I'm tempted to buy one of their cds... can anyone tell me if it is quality Irish music they're blending with The electric guitars and drum kit, or if it's crappy. Thanks.
