Hi Chris, any of the Fishmans and Baggs stuff is hard to beat for a floating bridge bouzouki. Fishman do a nice Ribbon transducer for a two part bridge, at a fair price, and a good sound from it too.
Seanie.
You might check out B-Band (http://www.b-band.com/). I use their AST pickup in both of my my octave mandolins and love it. Plus it has an extremely attractive price. Check the "Distribution" link for Australian sources.
You may also want to check out Pick-up The World pickups (http://www.pick-uptheworld.com/pickups.htm). They have a model specifically for bouzoukis. They are paper thin and slide under the bridge itself instead of mounting internally.
Another good one is made by McIntyre. I have one in my octave mandolin and I'm happy with it but it need a preamp. I think that Weber uses these pickups in their mandos.
Pickup for an Irish bouzouki?
Pickup for an Irish bouzouki?
Can anybody recommend a pickup for an Irish bouzouki with the classic floating bridge?

I use a Baggs, but it needs to be fitted (very carefully) by someone who knows what they're doing!

Re: Pickup for an Irish bouzouki?
I'm very happy with the Pick-Up The World #27 mounted on the bridge plate inside the body of my Phil Crump zouk.
I use it with either a Raven Labs or Presonus preamp, but the pickup is really only for those times when I can't use a mic.
