I have just received the above CD (from CDBaby, who I found easy to deal with) as recommended by several of you lot; and I am finding Kevin Griffin's banjo playing very inspiring, as you promised.
The lads were obviously having too much fun recording to worry about making notes, and each track has only one name.
If anyone can help identify the tunes (in order) I would be most 'umbly grateful.
Thanks all, for the above. I'm now in touch with Lurcherjohn, who first asked the question.
We may yet name the whole list, and then we could let the band know what they were playing!
I got this off e-bay a week or so ago, and was listening to it last night. I may have some alternative titles for you, but nobody's pointed out that the last tune played is the dreaded "Captain Pugwash" = The Trumpet" hornpipe.
And the 1st hornpipe on Track 4 is a tune I know as "Dinny O'Brien's".
Across The Pond?
Across The Pond?

Re: Across The Pond?
I think I've heard people refer to the first hornpipe on track 13 as The Glenbeigh. Maybe I'm getting my tunes mixed up

Re: Across The Pond?
Anyone know the second tune on track nine? It's the only one I don't have a name for.
