Could it be :

This is played after "Ronnie Cooper" on Disc One of "The Keegan's Tunes" - see recordings section.

Re: Tune Identification

Guys, maybe some of you might help me with the following tunes, both of which are in Breathnach's Cuid a Tri (Green Book, which I no longer possess)

1) Reel, Key GMajor

gedg/egdB/AcBG/ABce/dB3/dBAG/FGAF/GABd/

2) Reel, Key AMin/Dorian ?

EG/A2ed/BcdB/AG3/AGEG/A2ed//Bdef/g2fa/gedg/

Can anyone give me the reference numbers and names of these tunes in Breathnach's ? Any help is much appreciated.

Strathfoyle, I'll bring the book with me to the session this Sunday and you can look it up.

Re: Tune Identification

OK Whistledon, I was going to call you before Sunday and suggest that but you beat me to it :) My phone went a little screwy the other night, I think it was off the charger too long. I tried calling you back but it was dead.

Seeya Sunday.

Re: Tune Identification

The Ador one is Ormond Sound - a Paddy O' Brien (Nenagh)composition

Re: Tune Identification

Oh, the G maj one is another Paddy O' Brien composition called Town Teine. Blasts from the past!
