Open Back Tenor banjo

Open Back Tenor banjo

Dear All,

I'm looking for an open back tenor banjo for up to £350. Can anyone suggest someone in or around the London area who sells vintage banjos ideally with gig bag included. Soft warm tone wanted.

Thanks

Hobgoblin Music? Nothing secondhand in the London store for under £495, but there's a couple in Crawley.

Sounds like the beginning of a limerick:

Re: Open Back Tenor banjo

Its a pity you're not in Ireland 'cause I have a 17 fret ( absolutely no wear on frets , just completely refretted professionally ) S.S. Stewart open back with 23 hole archtop tone ring ( Stamped June 1920 ) . It has new quality planetary tuners and original hardcase , lined in deep green velvet. Its the same pot as Majestic used on their banjos , even the tone ring and the neck inlays are the same . I am asking 570 EURO for it which I guess to be about 390 Sterling !
