The Celtic College is in Goderich, Ontario, Canada. It is held in the last week of July ending with a Celtic Festival on the first weekend in August. Here is the website URL: http://www.celticfestival.ca/
It's a great experience with small venue concerts every night followed by sessions at various levels around the downtown area.
Zulu &TF Thanks for the link. I 've confirmed that it has workshops the week immediately following the Catskills I'm told you can get to al the sessions without having to bother with a car. And I like the idea of smaller sessions.

I heard, but do not remember where that there is a great little workshop the last week in July in Canada.. across from Detroit. Anyone have a link??

Perhaps you are thinking of Goderich? I don't know exactly when in the summer it is, but that's all I can think of.
