Re: goat arrival

They always proliferate in Sept and Oct, should be cleared out by Dec.

Re: goat arrival

Well I think it's probably a good thing.

With Jupiter in Pisces and Mars in Debenhams, the prognosis is good for a long and happy weekend for bearded men (and ladies), although the arrival of someone else's shopping in the Tesco delivery van looks likely for those of a sensitive disposition.
Lucky tune: Going to the Well for Water.
Lucky instrument: Harpsichord

Re: goat arrival

How do you solve a problem like a bodhran? Why would you take a goat and pin it down?

Re: goat arrival

btw, the first line of that lonely goat song is dead worrying: 'high on a hill with a lonely goat'. Can only lead to trouble.

Back In the newsroom in Cape Town, we used to have a running gag where we'd hold a pool on the number of goat-shagging incidents to be reported on in the local newswires - there's often a report coming out of the limpopo province where a farmer reports his neighbour to the cops for coming over to have his way with Nanny and Bill.

"Your honour, in my defence I'd just like to say that if the good lord didn't want us to shag goats, he wouldn't have placed their horns so conveniently"

Re: goat arrival

Maybe "The cow that ate the piper (Dinny Byrne)" was revenging herself for Dinny's misdeeds of the past........

Re: goat arrival

I heard that in Galicia the only shame is if the goat is tied up during the act. Perhaps a Galician could comment.
