Hi Ptarmigan, many Sabines running around here - especially my age. The name used to be as popular here as Mary or Padraig in Ireland. Anyway. Yes, it's like the way you pronounce your wife's name. With "a" at the end - like the a at the beginning of the word "angel". There is another version of the name - Sabina - "a". Different pronouncation. Sabin with nothing at the end does not exist though that is how most of my friends in Ireland would call me. Complicated, it seems.
Keeping busy here - plenty to do. I'll be doing the Ismaning Workshop the first weekend of November - if you're down for the session on the Saturday night, I'll see ya then! I probably won't make it to the concert on the Friday ...
In the meantime, have a ball in Waldeck and play a tune for me!
Hi Sabine! If it's the Burg Waldeck in the Hunsrück area, I will of course be there. It's only a 20 minutes drive from my home. Looking forward to finally meeting you!!!

Hey Sabine, my wife's name is also spelt Sabine. From, just North of Hamburg. Now, do you pronounce your name 'Sa Been' or 'Sa Beena'?

Don't think i will be at the Ismaning thing. Different reasons. Might be in Cáceres, Spain at a festival that weekend.

Great! I wanted to write to you, anyway, but my mail program doesn't work at the moment. I hope they will fix it soon.
