Smallpipes Keys-Thanks!

Smallpipes Keys-Thanks!

Thanks for all your advice! We had a listen to Iain Macinnes on Tradtunes and I think we have decided on a D set. All I've got to do now is save up for them!

If anyone knows of any smallpipe players in Devon/Cornwall, I'd be pleased to hear from them. I haven't even seen a set of smallpipes yet! Would be good if I could get them before we move back to Scotland - I have my own views on which area is best!

Re: Smallpipes Keys-Thanks!

I've found a maker in Arran through the internet - Dunfion Bagpipes. Phoned him up a month or so ago. He got a bit confused with my Island accent as we live in Plymouth! He thought I lived closer! The photos of his pipes could really nice and they seemed quite reasonably priced compared to others I've looked at.

I've had a look at that website- thanks! I'll be able to get to there for the day to have a look at some sets!
