Can anyone name this old Ozark Irish Jig?

Can anyone name this old Ozark Irish Jig?

Hey all...

Help!

I learned this Jig from an old fiddler in the Ozark mountains.

Does ANYONE know the NAME of it? ( He had no idea
and online searches have produced no hits ).
I'd like to submit it to the database but I'd really love
to know if anyone recognizes it first and can NAME it.

I wrote it down from memory so I am not sure I have
it right. I want to get it right.

You can hear it on this web page...

Here is the ABC for it...

Even some 'hints' like "Sounds close to this or that"
might help me narrow it down. Thanks in advance.

Sounds to me like it's a version of Cock O'the North, aka Chase Me Charlie:

Hey... THANKS tedium!
I think you might be right!
Good ear!
That is DARN close albeit version I learned
from that Ozark fiddler is played 'down a notch'.
Interesting ( and unmistakable ) similarities
but also interesting ( and mysterious )
differences, too.
