Hi, I'm sat in an INternet cafe in Kerry at the mo, and I thought that I'd tell everyone how this trip is going.
It's been all right I suppose. The tour guide has been forcing me to play and sing on the bus EVERY DAMN DAY, which is really annoying since everytime we go ove a bump my whistle gets rammd into the oof of my mouth.
ALTHOUGH, we went to a ceili (which wasn't eally a ceili since we didn't dance) and I borrowed a whistle of an all Ireland Champ Tom someone and plyed a bit, and at the end he said it was brilliant playing!!!!!!
Anyway, my money's running out. Giants causeway now Byeeeeeeee
as for going over the bumps - play with the whistle more horizontal, and at one side of the mouth. This has the added advantage of making people think you have some deep down secret mysterious reason for playing it in that position, probably vouchsafed to you by either the fairies, or by Tom Someone, and they'll be impressed.
Yes, it was Tom O'Connor. I felt like such an idiot, like I was intruding on their gig. I didn't want to play, but my tour group forced me.
At the moment I'm in BallyGally Castle Hotel, which is supposed to be haunted oooooooooooooo. Already been up to the ghost room, heard a door creak, screamed, and run back down. *looks sheepish* Tomorrow it's Belfast I think. I'll see if I can find an internet thing there.
How the trip is going....
