Ive been asked to help the Arts Council NI set up a list of sessions ,venues and festivals of trad and folk/acoustic music in and around the north of Ireland.This will potentially be of great use to those interested in all things trad here.
Theres bound to be lots of stuff that Ive missed so I would appreciate it if people could suggest relevant venues etc.Perhaps trad music schools too and anything else of interest.
Ill check the sessions archive too but I would like the info to be up to date so if anyone can tell me what is no longer happening that would be useful too.

Im surprised by the scarsity of replies-
If anyone has any more info regarding festivals/sessions etc outside of Belfast (which I already have pretty much covered) it would be appreciated. Im submitting this tomorrow so after then it will be too late.

You probably know all about the sessions in Belfast. but there is a really great session in Clenaghan's on tuesday night, Soldierstown Rd, Aghagallon
