Providing the actual title of the tune is exactly the same as the one which was requested--- a somewhat rare occurence , then the system should automatically send you an e-mail informing you that the tune has been submitted and your request will then be cancelled.
However, because of the possibilities I've mentioned above and also the fact that people do not always check various permutations of tune titles, many of the tune requests are already in the database.

Hello,
Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask, but how do you find out if someone posts a tune that you have requested ?
I placed a request a while back and every now and then check the database, but is there another way of finding out if your request was met ?
I can't see anything in the FAQ about this.
