Anyone going to Catskills Irish Arts Week in East Durham, NY?

The Catskills week is coming up next week. Just curious if any Session members will be there, and what classes you're taking. I'm doing fiddle and song classes.

Yes, I plan on taking the bohwran lesson if it isn't full...couldn't find a harmonica session. My daughter will be participating in the children's activities. She has a lovely voice so I hope that they will challenge her singing ability.

I'm taking Concertina from Gearoid, and beginning piping from Benedict Kohler. My wife is taking set-dancing.

Bob - Benedict is such a nice guy and an incredible piper. I am fortunate to hear him play in a local VT session once a month (in the non-summer months). You will have a great experience in his class!

I'm 32 and have dark wavy hair. (now cut above my shoulders a bit)
I'll be carrying a green backpack and may or may not be wearing my glasses. If you see me, say hi. I'm a flute player. : )

Good to see there are others of you going. I thought of trying to find a place for Session members to meet up and play a bit, but things are so spread out there I wasn't really sure what to suggest. At any rate, I know people taking classes with Mike McHale and Gearoid, so I'll tell them to look for you. My own classes are fiddle with Willie Kelly in the morning and then singing with Karan Casey. Maybe see you there!
