Well, you shouldn't really need to emphasise "good", even although the bodhran as an instrument has this bad reputation. Regardless of whatever instrument one plays, a person ought to make a realistic assessment of their own abilities before deciding to participate in such a project. I, for instance, realise that's there's much mandolin players than me going around and wouldn't expect to be considered for something like this. Surely, we can trust bodhran players the same way!

You should produce a proper CD and sell it worldwide. There's a lot of people well into their minimalist stuff these days, stuff like 10 minutes worth of 2 clocks ticking out of sequence etc.

Great stuff. Looks like the "Bodhran Moods" album might be coming out at last.

Re: Calling all GOOD Bodhrán Players In the north of england
Were you hoping to make many tracks?
On a serious note, sounds like a good idea. I remember Vinny from Manchester years ago, absolutely great player.

Re: Calling all GOOD Bodhrán-Players In the North of England
Just because you have a good bodhran, it doesn't mean you can play it.
Has your bodhran been GOOD this week, or has it been NAUGHTY?
before anyone accuses me of being a shifty character, i seem to have lost the relevant key
AH, HERE IT IS - NOW WHERE HAS THAT FULL STOP KEY GONE TO?

I don't like your tone ingram, if you want people to come and play for you your not putting out a great impression.
but good luck hope it works.
people have different opinions so what is good to one person is not so good to another.
try and sound a little more polite.

My socialist beliefs forbid this idea. Besides, I could end up as No 1 in the charts, and what sort of failure would that be.
