I'm looking for a mandolin teacher for private lessons in Dublin. They seem to be very scarce on the ground, though most teachers probably go off for the summer.
I'm an adult learner, living in Stillorgan. Anyone interested in giving lessons? It would be very flexible and wouldn't have to be on a weekly basis.
Here's a good teacher who, unfortunately, stays a bit too far away(In Scotland).
However, I thought you might like to have a quick look at his online tutorial.
Most of us were self taught, although the instrument is gaining in popularity and there are more teachers around these days. There's quite a few good tutor books, videos these days too which weren't around either in the old days. I'm not sure if you've checked these out or not.
