Sessions in Virginia/DC

Hi lads,

Just wondering if anyone has info on groovy sessions in Charlottesville, Richmond, or DC? I'm stuck in southern Virginia for the summer and there are no tunes to be had down here.

I hope you've found something- try searching for Virginia on discussions here -there was a previous question and someone from Charlottesville had a link. . Roanoke has a session 3rd Fridays and Lynchburg is trying to get started on 2nd Friday of month. Jennifer

The biggest session in DC is the one at Nanny O'Brien's on Monday nights. Also, I think some people play there on Sunday afternoons as well.

Also, In Northern Virginia (Fairfax) there's a slower session at the John Wood Center on Saturdays at 10 -- although it's on hiatus at the moment and may be meeting at peoples' houses -- their website http://www.geocities.com/novairishsession/
should give you a referral to someone you could email. There is also, apparantly, a Yahoo egroup for this one.
